These are the shared agreements every founder in our studio signs off on before they start building. They keep us safe, kind, and creative โ and they're how we stay a studio anyone would want to be part of.
We support each other's ideas, give honest feedback, and celebrate wins out loud. No put-downs, no exclusion, no trash-talking someone's work โ even as a joke.
Never put real names, addresses, phone numbers, school names, emails, photos of people, passwords, or family info into a game, website, prompt, or AI chat. If you're not sure โ ask before you ship.
Use it to make awesome stuff. Don't share secrets, personal stories, or stuff you wouldn't want a stranger to read. Everything you type is saved so your teacher and family can check in.
No slot machines, loot boxes, betting, or any game mechanic that resembles gambling. Random rewards are fine if they're free and fair โ never if they cost something or feel like a casino.
Don't copy other people's art, code, or game ideas and call them yours. Remixing is great โ say what you remixed and add your own twist. Don't use real-life logos, brands, or other people's characters in your published work.
Anything you publish (a game, a studio page, an embed in the /play feed) can be seen by anyone on the internet โ possibly forever. Before you click publish, do the pre-publish check with a teacher.
Don't try to break the platform, jailbreak the AI, run up credits on purpose, or make stuff that's mean, scary, gross, or unsafe for other kids. We use credits like fuel โ make them count.
If something feels weird โ a chat, a message from someone, something a classmate made, or something the AI said โ tell your teacher right away. You'll never be in trouble for asking.
If you finish early, help a classmate. If you're stuck, ask. The best studios are built by teams that look out for each other.
Sit down with a parent and complete the interactive Privacy & Security Worksheet. It only takes a few minutes and it'll lock in the most important habits before you start publishing real things on the internet.
